Currently, I am crafting wands from birch, cherry, ebony, holly, honeysuckle, lignum vitae, maple, mahogany, pear, poplar, oak, walnut, and willow. Each wand is also crafted with fine mystical crystal gemstones including amber, amethyst, black moonstone, black onyx, citrine, garnet, fire opal, peridot, rock crystal, rose quartz, ruby, sapphire, blue and white topaz, and white moonstone. I would also be happy to craft a wand to order from other magical woods and mystical crystals on commission.

I carefully craft each of my wands in accordance with the textbook Magical Wands - A Cornucopia of Wand Lore by Wolfrick Ignatius Feuerschmied, Professor of Wand Lore at the Isles of Skye School of Magick, Master Wand Maker of the International Guild of Wand Makers, and Grand Master of the European Council of Wand Makers. Each of my wands is unique and hand crafted in my Pennsylvania workshop. Naturally, I would never sell mass-produced "toy wands" made from "resin" or "plastic".

I make wands because I love fantasy. I read dozens of fantasy books each year, and when I moved to Germany to study at Ludwig Maximillian University in Munich, the only books in English that I took with me were the Tolkien Trilogy. I also greatly enjoy watching most movies involving magic.

I also make wands because I love working with wood and gemstones. For example, there is nothing more surprisingly restful than using a wood lathe and seeing the shavings spiral off the spinning wood. It is also very fulfilling to watch a new wand appear as if by magic from within the blocks of wand wood. I especially enjoy rubbing the well-sanded wand with tung oil and watching the wood's beautiful grain burst forth. I also love working with real gemstones, enjoying their beauty as I select them just the right stones for the tips and end caps of the wands.
